Small Fungus Chamber

A compact home for a growing fungus garden, made by MyrmexAnts. The black frame and matching top rim surround clear viewing panels, letting you watch your colony while keeping its garden supported above a moisture-retaining floor.

How the chamber works

• Raised fungus platform: The circular, perforated platform in the center supports the fungus garden above the surrounding hydration floor. It gives the garden a defined resting place and helps separate it from direct contact with the damp substrate below.
• Moisture-retaining floor: Choose a layered gypsum floor of sand and/or vermiculite with Hydrostone, or a bed of LECA expanded-clay balls. Both options provide a moisture-retaining base beneath and around the raised fungus platform. Hydrate gradually to suit your colony; avoid pooling water around the fungus.
• Two hydration ports: Dedicated access points let you replenish moisture in the base without repeatedly opening the main chamber.
• Two expansion ports: Connect compatible tubing to an outworld or an additional chamber as your setup grows. Confirm your tubing fit before ordering.
• Clear viewing panels: Observe the garden and workers from outside the chamber.
• Included hydration bottle: Use the supplied bottle for controlled additions of water through the hydration ports.

Choose your setup

Choose Gypsum or LECA clay balls for your hydration floor. Small Fungus Chamber: $35. Add the optional drip tray for $10 ($45 total). The drip tray sits beneath the chamber to catch incidental drips during hydration.

Includes the chamber with its central fungus platform, prepared hydration floor, and one hydration bottle. Ants, fungus, connecting tubing, and additional habitats are not included.
